A new year…

"Do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."  Joshua 1:1-9

Needless to say 2021 was a mixed up strange and difficult year.  

With COVID, the restrictions, business shut downs, sickness and death we had all faced a very trying time.  

2022 will bring us endless possibilities and unknown circumstances we may face. Our journey along the path in life isn’t always smooth and exciting.  We stumble, face strive, delusion and disappointment sometimes overshadowing our blessings and joys.  Disappointment and discouragement can bury the wonderful elements in our lives.

My journey into acknowledging and sharing gratitude for the goodness and honestly, abundance of blessings has helped to bring more positivity and sunshine into my life. Without positive determination, life could otherwise be more depressing, isolating and overloaded with worry.

Together let us decide to be encouraged, be grateful, accepting of the times where obstacles hindered our days.  May this year will bring wonderful moments despite times of uncertainty and concern.  We can navigate easier with a strong mindset.  Choose to see the light in the darkness, foster encouragement in all ways and face discouragement with a renewed  mindset.  Choosing a direction and focus will bring joy amidst the tougher times.  

Take time to meditate on God’s word in all areas of your life that need strength and healing.  Be encouraged, not discouraged.  Make 2022 an incredible year of joy, love and belief!
