Hello Everyone!
Looks like we are on our way to an early spring! As I was writing this email, I discovered that Friday’s temperatures will be 11 degrees Celsius! However, winter is probably not done with us yet as the temperature will drop back down to 3 degrees on Sunday!
This coming Wednesday is Ash Wednesday and Valentine’s Day. Time to reflect about Ash Wednesday and also to do something kind for someone you care about! Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!!!
Please continue to pray for Rev. Sean Foster, Bonnie, and the kids. Sean’s mobility challenges as a result of ALS have had a large impact on him and the family. Knox Oakville has invited us to their Dinner Church Wednesday, February 21st from 6 pm-7:30 pm. Please let Debbie know if you will be attending. Parking is available beginning at 6 pm in the parking lot behind Knox Oakville’s church. This would be a good opportunity to connect with them.
Our Annual Meeting has been scheduled for 3 pm on Thursday February the 29th in the Gathering Place. We would like to have as many people as possible attend the meeting. The Annual Report should be available via PDF 2 Sundays before our meeting, and hard copies will be available after that.
Please continue to bring in your empty milk bags and tops of pop cans.
