Announcements for October 13th, 2023

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving with family and friends!

A book study will begin on October 18th for 4 weeks with the morning session (at 10:30 am) at Knox 16 and an afternoon session (at 3:00 pm) at Hopedale. The book is “Meeting Jesus Again for the First Time: The Historical Jesus and the Heart of Contemporary Faith” by Marcus Borg.  Debbie has an extra book if any of those signed up have not obtained the book yet.

The Harvest Home Dinner is coming up on Saturday, October 21st at 6 pm. Please sign up by Monday! There will be fun and food and good entertainment!

The Fall mission project is the Kerr Street Mission Adopt a Shelf (grocery shelf). We will be collecting 350 cans of baked beans and canned meat!!!

Hopedale has access to an online library of various biblical resources and videos in Right Now Media. We need to know if people are using this resource or whether we should cancel it. Please let Debbie know if you are using this resource or if you would like to be given access to it.

Prayer Group will resume on October the 16th at 11 am. Please let Debbie know if you will be attending.
